Branka Rotar Pance is an Associate Professor at the Department of Music Pedagogy at the Academy in Music (University of Ljubljana, Slovenia). She gives lectures on music didactic at the Bachelor and Masters programme and supervises doctoral students. Her research interests lie in the different fields of music education, motivation, working with gifted students, musical creativity, ICT in music education, lifelong learning of music teachers, arts and cultural education and the history of Slovenian music pedagogy. She is the chair of the Slovene Music Olympiad, a jury member at the International Music Olympiads and the chair of the organising committee of the 5th International Music Olympiad Ljubljana, 2022.
